Big Two is a Chinese climbing game for two to four players. Although it plays much like Thirteen (tien len), it is unique among the climbing games in that it allows for the use of standard poker hands as valid combinations. A poker hand consists of five cards. The categories of hand, from highest to lowest, are listed below. Any hand in a higher category beats any hand in a lower category (so for example any three of a kind beats any two pairs). Between hands in the same category the rank of the individual cards decides which is better, as described in more detail. Some common poker hand odds are open-ended straight draws at 4.8:1, four to a flush at 4.1:1, inside straight (belly buster) at 10.5:1, one pair drawing to two pairs or trips at 8.2:1, overcards. Big 2 poker is a poker game originated in East Asia, and it is very popular in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau. It is usually played with 2 and up to 4 players using a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 13 cards and the highest suit is spades, followed by hearts, clubs and diamonds.

INTRODUCTION TO POKER WITH TWO HANDS
There are several variations of Poker which utilize two hands in the game, such as Chinese Poker and Pai Gow Poker. Below are poker games which are played with two hands, although these instructions assume the reader is familiar with traditional Poker and the Poker Hand Rankings.
Open Face Chinese Poker, not to be confused with the variant of Chinese Poker mentioned above, is three hand poker- not two.
HENWAY
This is a split pot game is played with up to 5 players, each dealt 10 cards after placing an ante.
Players split the 10 cards into 2 five card hands. After the player's hands are arranged, each player flips the top card of each of their hands over, so that it is visible. This is followed by a round of betting. This pattern of play continues for the second, third, and fourth cards in hand. Following the fourth round of betting, players reveal their hands. Highest ranking and lowest ranking hands split the pot evenly.
10 CARD REGRETS
Ten card regrets is also a split pot game that accommodates no more than five players. Players are dealt 10 cards each which are arranged into two five-card poker hands: on the left a low hand and on the right a high hand.
After placing an ante, players are dealt two cards at a time, face-down. After, they decide whether these cards are going to be a part of the left hand, the right hand, or one to each. After each player has had their turn there is a round of betting.
The deal repeats, and players are dealt another two card, followed by another round of betting.
This continues until each player has 2 five-card hands. Once a card is assigned to a hand it cannot be moved nor can the hands exceed five cards.
At showdown, the pot is split between the highest and lowest hands, they must be won by the proper corresponding hand, i.e. a right hand cannot win low hand.
COWPIE POKER
The deal and betting process is the same as Seven Card Stud.Seven card stud is simplified as, 'two down, four up, one down,' which refers to the quantity and order of the way cards are dealt, with betting rounds in between each card.
After all the players have seven cards, they are split into a five card and a two card hand. Cards dealt face-up and face-down remain that way. The five card hand must be higher ranking than the two card hand and include at least one face-down card. A final betting round occurs and next is the showdown. The pot is to be split between the best five card and two card hands.

INTRODUCTION TO BIG TWO
Big Two (Choh Dai Di) is an Asian card game in which the central goal is being the first player to get rid of all your cards in hand. A hand has 13 cards. As the name suggests, twos are the highest ranking card in Big Two. So, the highest card in the whole game is the 2 of Spades.
THE DEAL
The dealer is chosen by a cut deck. Cut the deck, the value of the card on the bottom of the cut (or the top deck) determines who will be the dealer (ace=1). Count the players in a counterclockwise fashion until reaching the rank of the card, that player will be the dealer.
Big Two Poker Hands Games
Each player receives 13 cards each. After shuffling, the dealer starts to their left and moves clockwise. This is the direction in which the deal itself passes.
The player with the 3 of Diamonds starts the play and receives the leftover cards not dealt to the other players. If a player does not have the 3 of Diamonds, the player with the next lowest card starts the play and receives the remaining cards.
THE PLAY
The player with the lowest card in hand starts the first round. They must use their low card to lead the round. Cards may be played in the following ways:
- Single cards
- Pairs
- Triplets/Trips/Three of a Kind
- Poker Hands (five card hands and their rankings)
A 5th card may be played with a Four of a Kind to make a legitimate poker hand.
Players must beat the lead or the previous hand played by playing a hand of the same type that ranks higher.
For example, if the round is lead with a three of a kind with three 3s (3-3-3), the next player must beat it with a higher ranking three of a kind, like 5-5-5.
Single cards may be beaten by higher ranking cards or equal value cards from higher-ranking suits.
Players may choose to pass if they wish or cannot play. Once all player's have passed, the last player to make a legal move leads (starts) the next round. The next round may begin with whatever kind of play that player wishes.
Scoring
Once a player has played all their cards, the hand has finished. The winning player receives 1 point for each card left in other player's hands, and X^2 points for each two in hand. For example, if a player goes out with four 2s in hand, the winner receives 16 points off their hand.
Play continues until one player reaches the goal point value, for example, 50 points.
